Studies are small works that I often do before committing a composition to a larger canvas.  They are executed quickly with looser brush work than the larger paintings, and have a fresh distinct quality all their own.  Not all studies will end up larger pieces, but all are done with that in mind, and if you find a study you like that I have not yet painted large, I can do it for you.
